J2 Limited currently provides Wireless Internet Service in the Kingston, St. Andrew, Portmore and Hellshire St. Catherine. We offer two types of services:

• Line-of-Sight (LOS) - This service operates in the 2.4GHz band. J2 Limited's transmitting antenna  must be able to communicate with the receiving antenna located at the customer's premises without any obstructions. These obstructions include trees, heavy vegetation, buildings, hills and radio towers.
  

• Non-Line-of-Sight (NLOS) - This service operates in the 900MHz band. Unlike the 2.4GHz network, minor obstructions does not affect the the signal. Persons living in areas surrounded by many tress or heavy vegetation should be able to receive the service.

We have spent alot of time testing VOIP services from different providers. We presently offer the service from NetStream Global, a local company that uses the Net2Phone platform. They offer the widest combination of voice packages.   

Content Filtering

This is for parents who want to protect their children from visiting unsuitable sites which contain pornography, violence drug glorification or hate. The setup is very simple and parents can do this after receiving the instructions from J2 Limited's Technical Department. There is no charge for this service.

High Speed Mobile Wireless

We are happy to announce that we have expanded our business by becoming an Authorized Claro Dealer in reselling Mobile Wireless Internet. This new service will allow mobile users with laptops to have access to a high speed broadband connection.
